MP Murad hurt as ceiling fan falls on his head

Former state minister for information and broadcasting Dr Murad Hasan MP sustained injuries after a ceiling fan fell on his head at Sarishabari of Jamalpur.

However, he is out of danger, his personal assistant (APS) Abu Zahim Naeem confirmed.

Local sources said, the incident took place when he was holding a meeting at his residence in Daulatpur of Awna Union in Jamalpur on Thursday night.

Later, he was taken to Upazila Health Complex.

Sarishabari Upazila Health Complex’s RMO Debashis Rajbongshi said Dr Murad Hasan MP was given three stitches.
