135 dengue patients admitted to hospitals in 24 hrs

135 people, highest in number by this year, were admitted to hospitals after being diagnosed with dengue in the past 24 hours. Earlier on July 26, 128 people got diagnosed with dengue in a day.

Of the 135 dengue patients, 116 are the residents of the capital Dhaka and the remaining are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 1,820 people were admitted to different hospitals after being infected with dengue in this month.

So far, 19 people died of dengue in this current year.

This was revealed from health emergency operations center and control room of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday (August 21) night.
