Gold price drops by Tk 1,050 per bhari

Jewellers on Monday (September 26) lowered the price of gold by Tk 1,050 to Tk 81,298 a bhari on local market.

The Bangladesh Jewellers’ Samity issued a press release in this regard on Monday.

According to BAJUS, the price of 22-karat gold has been decreased to Tk 81,298 a bhari from Tk 82,348 a bhari.

The price of 21-karat gold has been decreased to Tk 77,624 a bhari from Tk 78,615 a bhari and that of 18-karat gold to Tk 66,484 a bhari from Tk 67,418 a bhari.

The price of traditional gold has been decreased to Tk 55,171 a bhari from Tk 55,870 a bhari, the release said.

The new prices will come into effect from Tuesday (September 27).
