Bangladesh logs 2 Covid-19 deaths, 679 new cases in 24 hrs

Bangladesh registered two deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, raising the national toll to 29, 362 across the country so far.

However, some 679 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,24,489 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Thursday (September 29).

Alongside, as many as 354 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,64,501, the release said.
