RAB now more smarter: DG

Newly-appointed Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) M Khurshid Hossain has opined that RAB is now more smarter compared to the militants.

The new DG said this while responding to the journalists after visiting the security arrangement of Banani Puja mandap in the city on Monday noon.
Considering everything, security arrangements have been set up in every Puja mandap. There is no threat of sabotage, said the DG.

M Khurshid Hossain said that there is no threat. We are doing cyber monitoring. Intelligence surveillance is better than any time in the past.

Responding to a question that some 50 to 60 youths have left the houses, he said “No matter, RAB is smart from the militants.
