Power outage has hit several places in Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka, due to a collapse in the national grid.
Electricity supply came to a halt at around 2:05pm on Tuesday (October 4).
A top official of Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB) confirmed the matter. However, the reason behind the collapse in the national grid could not be known immediately.
DPDC managing director Bikash Dewan and DESCO management Director Ameer Kausar Ali said that the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) is working to keep the power supply normal.
