‘IMF providing loans as per Bangladesh’s expectations’

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is providing the loan as per Bangladesh’s expectations.

The minister said this while addressing a press conference at his office in the capital on Wednesday (November 9).

He said, “We are getting the loan just the way we wanted. Total $4.5 billion will be lent to Bangladesh."

The first instalment, $352.35 million, of the loan will be cleared in February next year, AHM Mustafa Kamal said.
