BCL leader Babli gets bail in cattle lifting case

Dhaka District North Chhatra League’s female student affairs leader Babli Akter secured bail in a case filed against her on charge of selling stolen cattle keeping in her house at Dhamrai in Savar.
District and Session Court Judge AHM Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan granted her the bail on Monday (November 21).
Earlier on November 2, police arrested the BCL leader conducting raid at Savar Radio Colony area. The court sent her to jail the following day.
According to the case statement, two cattle were stolen from the house of Abdul Latif at Dhamrai. Later, the victim family filed a case at Dhamrai Police Station on October 30. Two accused were arrested in the case. During interrogation, they confessed that Babli Akter was involved in cattle lifting incident.
Babli Akter is the 3rd year student of the Department of Social Work at Savar Govt College and daughter of Badsha Mia of Nayabari in Savar municipal area.
