BSTI includes 10 more products under mandatory quality certificate

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) has decided to include 10 more essential products under the mandatory quality certificate.

The list includes disposable diapers, petroleum jelly, bread (flatbread/Tortilla), aerosol, geyser, shaving foam/gel, eye care, hair dye liquid, and shoe polishing liquid.

The decision was approved on Sunday (December 11) at 37th council meeting of BSTI.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun presided over the meeting while first vice-president of the council and state minister for industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder, second vice-president and industries secretary Jakia Sultana and member secretary and director general of BSTI Md Abdus Sattar were present on the occasion.
