Case filed against husband over journo Shabnan`s death

A case has been filed against slain journalist Sharmin Shabnam’s husband Saidul Islam for allegedly killing his wife.

Deceased Shabnam’s sister filed the murder case with Hatirjheel police station on Wednesday (December 28).

Hatirjheel police station’s Sub-Inspector SM Maniruzzaman confirmed the matter.

Inspector (operations) Abdul Kuddus said after being informed police rushed to the residence in Moghbazar area and recovered the decomposed body around 5pm.

The victim’s husband Saidul rented the house in March this year.
