Bangladesh logs one death, 23 new cases of Covid in 24hrs

Bangladesh registered one death of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 29,440 across the country so far.

However, some 23 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,37,125 in the country.

A press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Saturday (December 31).

Alongside, as many as 47 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,87,733, the release said.
