Bangladesh logs one Covid death, 16 new cases in 24hrs

Bangladesh reported one death of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, rising the national toll to 29,442 across the country so far.

However, some 16 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,37,532 in the country.

A press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Sunday (January 29).

Alongside, as many as 223 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,92,447, the release said.
