Missing Brahmanbaria-2 constituency aspirant found

Independent candidate of Brahmanbaria-2 (Sarail-Ashuganj) by-polls, Abu Asif Ahmed, was found on Thursday (February 2).

Brahmanbaria police super Mohammad Shakhawat Hossain confirmed the matter on Thursday noon (February 2).

The police super said Abu Asif Ahmed's wife filed a general diary (GD) at the police station about his disappearance. Since then, the police were looking for him.

The SP also said that following the GD, police started an investigation and Abu Asif Ahmed's wife Meherun Nisa Meherin told the police that her husband was staying at their home in Bashundhara. Details can be known after grilling him.

Earlier on January 27, Asif allegedly went missing.
