PM to visit India on September 9

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit India on September 7 to join the G-20 summit on an invitation sent by her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

Seheli Sabrin, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the matter on Thursday afternoon (February 2).

She said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to attend the G20 Summit in New Delhi. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to join the conference.

The spokesperson also said that the Argentine Foreign Minister is likely to visit Bangladesh on February 27. There will be consultant meetings during the visit. Discussion would be taken place to open the Argentina mission or consulate in Dhaka and Bangladesh will also open a mission in Argentina.
