Flight operations resume at Sylhet airport

The flight operations at Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport resumed on Friday after two and half hour.

Osmani International Airport Director Hafiz Ahmed confirmed the matter around 5:00pm.

Earlier, a Boeing aircraft's wheel was punctured with a loud noise during take-off at Sylhet Osmani International Airport, causing panic among the passengers on-board.

Sources said Boeing-737 was scheduled to leave the airport for Dhaka around 12:55 pm on Friday (February 3). But, a wheel of the aircraft got punctured just before the takeoff. Later, 148 passengers of the plane managed to come out from it safely.
