Bangladeshis can now get dual citizenship of 44 more countries

Bangladeshi nationals will be able to acquire citizenship in 44 more countries, including Brazil and Argentina, as the Cabinet passed a proposal in this regard on Monday (February 27).

Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain said this at a briefing at the Bangladesh Secretariat.

Previously, the benefit of dual citizenship could be availed in 57 countries. With the addition of 44 new countries, Bangladeshis will get dual citizenship benefits across 101 countries.
