Court summons Rahmat Ullah in Shakib Khan’s case

A Dhaka court has summoned film producer Rahmat Ullah to appear before it on April 26 in an extortion case filed by actor Shakib Khan.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arafatul Rakib passed the order on Thursday noon.

Following a hearing, the court recorded Shakib’s statement after taking the charges against the producer into cognisance.

Actor Shakib Khan went to the court around 11.15am to file a case against Rahmat Ullah on charge of demanding extortion.

It is learnt that earlier Shakib Khan went to a police station to file a case but police advised him to file the case with a court.
