Shop catches fire at Katabon

A fire has broken out at a shop in the capital’s Katabon area. Being informed, some 10 units of Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the spot. They are trying to douse the blaze.

The Fire Service came to know about the fire around 7:30 pm on Monday (March 27).

Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service Control Room, confirmed the matter.

She said, “The reasons and extent of damage of the fire could not be known immediately. No casualties have also been reported till the report was filed.”
