Eid holidays extended by one day

The government has extended the Eid-ul Fitr vacation for one day on Thursday (April 20).

A Cabinet meeting gave the approval on Monday.

After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain confirmed this to media.

The government offices will remain closed from April 19-23. April 19 is a holiday for the Shab-e-Qadr.

He said considering the people’s smooth journey, the government has extended the Eid vacation for one more day.
