Dr Zafrullah in critical health condition

Gonoshasthaya Kendra’s founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury’s physical condition is critical, said Gonoshasthaya Kendra press adviser Jahangir Alam Mintu.

Quoting Professor Brigadier General (Retd) Dr Mamun Mustafi, chief of the medical board, he said that Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury’s condition is not good. He was put on life support yesterday.

Jahangir Alam Mintu also said that Zafrullah Chowdhury is suffering from kidney failure, liver problems, heart disease, and septicemia.

After Zafrullah fell seriously ill on April 5, he was taken to Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in the capital's Dhanmondi.
