‘Gazipur polls not related to US visa policy’

Election Commissioner Md Alamgir said that fair elections in Gazipur are not related to the US visa policy.
The EC said this while addressing reporters at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital on Sunday (May 28).
He said, through the Gazipur election, the commission has proved its ability to conduct fair elections at home and abroad.
The election commission is not under any kind of pressure, he added.
