84 more dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hours

A total of 84 more people were hospitalised with dengue in Dhaka and elsewhere in Bangladesh in last 24 hours till Tuesday (May 30).

In the 24 hours, 61 dengue patients were admitted in Dhaka while 23 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) release.

According to DGHS, this year till today 1,296 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in Dhaka while 631 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Besides, this year a total 13 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.
