Govt takes various steps to control prices of daily commodities: PM

The government has taken various steps to control the prices of daily commodities. As a result of the government's activities, it has been possible to control the prices of daily necessities.

The premier said this while replying to a query of Jatiya Party lawmaker Syed Abu Hossain at the national parliament on Wednesday (May 31).

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina highlighted various measures taken by the government to keep the economy of the government alive.

She also said that the prices of certain commodities (edible oil and sugar) are adjusted to keep the prices within the purchasing power of the people.
