Five get death in constable Badal murder case

A Dhaka court has sentenced five people to death penalty in police constable Badal murder case occurred in the capital’s Matijheel area 10 years ago.

The court also fined them Tk 1,00,000 each.

Dhaka’s seventh additional metropolitan sessions judge Tehsin Iftekhar handed down the order on Tuesday (June 6).

The death row convicts were known as Ripon Nath Gosh, Biswajit Chandra Das, Ibrahim Khalil alias Kosai Khalil, Ratan Chandra Das and Humayun Kabir.
