Bangladesh logs another Covid death, 197 new cases in 24hrs

Bangladesh reported one death of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, rising the national toll to 29,451 across the country so far.

However, some 197 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,39,911 in the country.

A press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Tuesday (June 6).

Alongside, as many as 42 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 20,06,437, the release said.
