State Minister expresses regret over loadshedding crisis

State Minister for Power Nasrul Hamid has expressed his regret for the ongoing loadshedding crisis across the country and requested everyone to have patience for a couple of weeks more.
He said, “The loadshedding is sudden, it will not last long. We can solve it within this month.”
State Minister for Power Nasrul Hamid said this in response to opposition MPs apprehension on public outrage over loadshedding on Tuesday (June 6).
The loadshedding situation was discussed during discussion on the proposed cut motion demand for the Energy and Mineral Resources Division in the supplementary budget for the fiscal 2022-2023.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid demanded the sanction of Tk 32.46 crore for the current fiscal year. 10 members of parliament proposed cut motions on his demand. Six people participated in the discussion. Rests were absent.
