Serajul Alam Khan, one of the key organizers of the Liberation War and veteran politician, has passed away.
Serajul Alam Khan, also known as Dada Bhai and mystery man of Bangladeshi politics, breathed his last on Friday noon at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
His personal secretary Mohammad Rasel confirmed the news.
Following the deterioration of his health condition, he was on life support on Thursday night.
On May 20, he was admitted to Samorita Hospital at Panthapath. Later, he was shifted to DMCH.
The unmarried Serajul, who spent a long time in the United States, used to live with his brothers in Dhaka's Kalabagan area.
