Desco’s official Facebook page hacked

The official Facebook page of Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (Desco) has been hacked by cyber criminals.

Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Information Officer Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin confirmed the matter on Saturday (June 10).

Government cyber teams including Desco are working to recover the page, he said.

Everyone is requested to refrain from exchanging any messages and avoiding any posts until the page is restored.
