Poet Aftab Ahmed dies

Poet Aftab Ahmed has died.
The poet breathed his last around 8.45pm on Monday at a hospital at Banani in the city.
His relative journalist Syed Ishtiak Reza confirmed the news.
Aftab Ahmed married to Gultekin Khan, former wife of novelist Humayun Ahmed, in 2019.
Aftab Ahmed retired as additional secretary and suffered stroke one year ago.
