Sayeedi’s death: BSMMU doctor receives death threat

Prof SM Mostofa Zaman, a physician of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), has received a death threat over the death of Delwar Hossain Sayeedi.

Prof SM Mostofa Zaman filed a GD with Dhanmondi Thana on Tuesday (August 15).

“Some people are spreading misinformation against me on social media and YouTube from different IDs. They are giving intimidation and death threats on my messenger,” the physician mentioned in the GD.

Convicted war criminal Delwar Hossain Sayeedi was admitted to BSMMU on August 13 after he fell sick.

He breathed his last around 8:40pm on August 14. Prof SM Mostofa Zaman was also a member of the medical board.
