Only judges are not responsible for lack of confidence in judiciary: CJ

New Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan has said that only judges are not responsible for lack of confidence in judiciary. Related-concerned people are creating such problem and we are trying to resolve the problem.

The Chief Justice came up with the remark after taking over the charge of country’s 24th chief justice on Wednesday.

He also urged the politicians not to involve politics with judiciary.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin made the appointment as per Article 95(1) of the Constitution, said a gazette notification issued on Tuesday.
