Clauses have been changed due to journalists’ objection: Law Minister

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has said that we have brought a radical change in the clauses of Cyber Security Act due to objections from journalists.

The minister came up with the remark in responding to a question of a journalist at a programme of local Awami League at Akhaura in Brahmanbaria on Friday.

The minister said the Cyber Security Act is being misinterpreted. Except of four cases, there is no scope to arrest anyone without a warrant.

He also sought vote for the Awami League for the next general election to be held in last of December or first week of January.
