Mild earthquake jolts Dhaka

An earthquake hit different parts of Bangladesh, including Dhaka, on Sunday noon (September 17).

The epicentre of the quake with a magnitude of 4.2 was 12km from Kaliakoir upazila of Gazipur and felt around 12:50pm.

No damage had been reported at the time of writing.

Earlier on August 14, an earthquake shook Dhaka and adjacent areas at 8:51 pm.
