Four including 3 of a family electrocuted to death in city

Four people, including three of a family, were electrocuted to death on a submerged road in Mirpur on Thursday night (September 21).

The deceased were known as Mizan, his wife Mukta Akter, and their 7-year-old daughter Lima. However, another victim remained unidentified instantly.

Mirpur model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahsin Ali told risingbd the incident occurred near Mirpur Commerce College around 10:30 pm. They died of electrocution as an electric wire broke and fell on the water on the road.

The bodies were sent to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
