Faruk Hossain, deputy commissioner (media) of the Dhaka metropolitan police said there will be no impact of US visa policy on Bangladesh police forces.
The deputy commissioner of DMP said this while addressing reporters at the DMP media center on Sunday noon (September 24).
He said that the US visa ban will not effectively slow down police work.
Faruk Hossain also said police are working to maintain law and order. They are working day and night for the safety of people and it will continue in the future. The US ban will not affect the daily activities of police.
Earlier, the US Department of State said it is taking steps to impose visa restrictions on Bangladeshi individuals responsible for, or complicit in, undermining the democratic election process in Bangladesh.
