US visa policy won’t affect image of police force: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun has opined that the US visa policy will not affect the image of police force.

The IGP came up with the remark while responding to a question of a journalist at a program at Tourist Police Headquarters at Paltan in the city on Monday.

In responding to another question, he said the police always try their best to recover the weapons. I firmly believe that we will be able to perform our duties properly during the national election.

The IGP said the Election Commission is responsible for organizing the election. During the election, we will work as per directions of the commission.
