19 more die from dengue

19 more dengue patients died across the country in the past 24 hours till Monday (September 25), raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 928.

According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 3,033 new dengue patients were hospitalised.

During the period, 801 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 2,232 were admitted to different hospitals outside it, the DGHS daily statement added.

With the new cases, the total number of patients rose to 1,90,581, the statement said, adding this year, some 1,79,683 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients.
