9 more die from dengue, 2357 hospitalised

Nine more dengue patients died across the country in the past 24 hours till Thursday (September 28), raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 967.

According to a statement of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 2,357 new dengue patients were hospitalised.

According to DGHS data, 9,797 dengue patients were undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.

With the new cases, the total number of patients rose to 1,99,188, the statement said, adding this year, some 1,88,824 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients.
