Khaleda Zia taken to CCU again

Ailing Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Khaleda Zia has been taken to the coronary care unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital in Dhaka again.

Sources in the BNP confirmed this on Friday afternoon.

On September 22, she was shifted to the CCU as her health complications intensified.

She has been receiving treatment at the hospital since 9 August.

Khaleda Zia, the former Prime Minister, has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, heart and eye problems.
