“Government determined to build Bangladesh as smart country”

President Mohammed Shahabuddin said that the government was determined to build Bangladesh as a happy-prosperous and smart country by 2041.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin said this in messages on the eve of the day on Sunday (October 1).

He said that implementation of advanced and modern technology-based policies and plans of both public and private sectors could play an important role in increasing productivity and building a smart Bangladesh.

‘That is why it is essential to increase productivity in every sector, including agriculture, industry and services. For this purpose, all the private industries and service organisations of the country should come forward along with the government,’ he added.

He said that National Productivity Organisation could play a positive role in this regard by developing industry, creating skilled manpower and raising awareness.
