Govt`s aim to kill Khaleda Zia: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the government wants to kill Khaleda Zia.

“BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment at a hospital for almost two months. The aim of this unelected and illegal government is to kill Khaleda Zia” alleged Fakhrul.

The BNP secretary general came up with the allegation while addressing a rally organized by Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal in front of the party’s central office at Nayapaltan on Monday (2 October).

The rally was organised demanding resignation of the current government, establishment of a caretaker government and the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The government is interpreting the law wrongly regarding her release. They know that if Khaleda is freed and recovered, their power will collapse, he said.
