13 more die from dengue

13 more dengue patients died across the country in the past 24 hours till Tuesday (October 3), raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 1030.

According to a statement of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 2,799 new dengue patients

were hospitalised.Of the new patients, 682 were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and the rest 2,117 outside the capital, DGHS said.

A total of 9,198 dengue patients, including 2,940 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
