Bangladeshis will be able to perform Umrah without visas

Bangladeshi citizens will be able to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia without applying for visas. However, in this case a pilgrim has to be a transit passenger of Saudia Airlines.

Saudi Ambassador Essa Yussef Essa Al Duhailan said this at a press briefing at the Saudi embassy in the capital Dhaka on Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit Bangladesh next year, and the historic visit by the crown prince will take our bilateral relations to a new height, he said.

The briefing was organised to announce a humanitarian programme called ‘Ebsar’, under which the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center will conduct eye treatment in 50 schools in the country.
