ACC finishes interrogation of Dr Yunus

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has completed quizzing Nobel Laureate Dr Mohammad Yunus in a case filed over the alleged misappropriation of Grameen Telecom’s workers profit participation fund (WPPF).

However, after the interrogation, he didn’t make any comments regarding the issue.

Regarding the ACC investigation, as journalists sought details from Dr Yunus, he said, "I was summoned, so I came. I have no comment. But thank you very much for coming."

Later, Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun informed reporters that during the ACC interrogation, Dr Yunus categorically rejected the allegations, asserting that they lack a factual foundation.

Earlier this morning, Dr Mohammad Yunus arrived at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in Shegunbagicha in response to a summon notice.
