Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Two laborers were killed in a landslide during excavating stones out of the ground in Jaflong of Sylhet district on Thursday morning.
The incident took place around 8.00am in Noyabosti area near the Piain River. (bd online news)
The deceased were identified as Akram Hossain (35), son of Mekhi Mia at Tukerbazar of Jalalabad Thana, and Lechhu Mia (25), son of Abdul Hamid of the area.
Gowainghat police station officer-in-charge (OC) Delwar Hossain confirmed the matter. (news online)
