Arif Ahmed new GM of Kuakata Grand Hotel & Sea Resorts

Renowned Bangladeshi hotelier Arif Ahmed has been appointed as the new General Manager at the luxurious Kuakata Grand Hotel and Sea Resorts in Kuakata, Patuakhali.

The newly appointed GM has an experience of over 20 years in various hotels including two and five-star hotels in the capital.

After completing his Masters Degree from University of Dhaka on marketing in 1993, Arif started his career in Marketing Research. His illustrious career in hospitality began in 2000 with BRAC Centre Inn.

Subsequently, Arif served as General Manager at Ornate Hotel from 2003-2006 proving his successful leadership and business capabilities. He also worked at Dhaka Regency as the opening team member.

Afterwards, he joined another successful hotel The Westin Dhaka as a pre-opening team member. At The Westin Dhaka, he was awarded as the best employee - Manager of the Year 2011. Finally, he resigned from Westin as the Director of Catering Sales in 2016.

His last assignment was at Le Meridien Dhaka, another Marriott International property, as the Director of Catering Sales and Event. His successful tenure of over three years at Le Meridien Dhaka ended on February 2020. Now, the renowned Bangladeshi hotelier has taken up the challenges of the sea beach property Kuakata Grand Hotel and Sea Resorts to ensure a true five-star experience for its guests at this booming tourist destination of Bangladesh.
