MASTUL Foundation stands next to the victims of the Banga Bazar

MASTUL Foundation has provided extensive support in the recent tragic fire incident at Banga Bazar. This humanitarian organization distributed water, iftar, Sheri, and other logistic support to fire-affected victims like businessmen, staff, workers, and volunteers.
Apart from this, MASTUL Foundation has also taken an initiative to make small businessmen self-reliant again through their “Zakat Empowerment Project”.
In the meantime, the Operation Team and the devoted volunteers of MASTUL have started a survey at the field level. Almost there is a list of hundreds of businessmen who are severely affected by this fire accident. Under the scheme of the MASTUL Zakat Empowerment project, they will get sewing machines and it will be a great opening to make them economically empowered again.
The founder and Executive Director of MASTUL Foundation said, “After accessing their extent of loses and overall scenario, will take all the possible steps to make them self-reliant again through our Zakat Empowerment Project.” We already provided sewing machines to a sizable number of fire-affected small businessmen.,” he added.
Head of Communication, Raihan Rahman said in his comment, “ I along with my team are doing constant surveys and accessing the data and information of the victims to establish their list. Inshallah, we deeply believe that we can help them overcome this worse situation through your provided Zakat.
MASTUL Foundation is mainly a government-registered charity-based organization. MASTUL runs a school and a shelter home where orphans and children from underprivileged communities get the chance of free education. Apart from this MASTUL Foundation is also affiliated with 22 schools in different 12 districts. Here almost 1100 poor and helpless children are getting stationary support like books, pens, shoes, school uniforms, etc., from the MASTUL Foundation.
MASTUL Foundation also has a Sewing Training Center that works for women's empowerment and almost 750 people become self-reliant under the Zakat Empowerment Scheme. In MASTUL Mehmankhana almost hundreds of day laborers enjoy a decent meal every day. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, MASTUL Foundation has assisted in burying more than 3000 dead bodies by maintaining all the religious rituals.
