The BNP and its like-minded opposition parties have announced another blockade starting from the morning of November 12 to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the government and holding election under a non-partisan government.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the program at a virtual press conference on Thursday afternoon.
The blockade will be effective from 6am on Sunday to 6am on Tuesday. The mass media vehicles, ambulances and vehicles carrying oxygen cylinders will remain out of the purview of blockade program.
Rizvi said their 365 leaders and workers were arrested during the last 24 hours across the country. Thirteen cases were filed against them where 1,563 people were made accused.
