BNP`s 48-hour blockade begins

The seventh spell of a 48-hour countrywide blockade was declared by the BNP and its allies, demanding the cancellation of the election schedule and their one-point demand, started at 6:00 am Sunday (November 26).

The blockade will end at 6:00 am on Tuesday.

On Thursday (November 23), BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme at a virtual press briefing.

Earlier, the party held a 48-hour hartal program on 19 to 20 November.
