AL announces names of nominated candidates

The ruling Awami League (AL) has published the list of the party aspirants nominated to contest in the 12th upcoming parliamentary election.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader read out the names of the nominated candidates at the party central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital around 4pm on Sunday (November 26).

Awami League finalised the list of nominees at the meetings of the party’s parliamentary board with prime minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

A total of 3,362 aspirants collected the nomination forms of Awami League to contest the next election.
